- A malignant tumor involving the rectum and sigmoid colon. The majority are carcinomas
- Malignant tumor of the colon or rectum. The majority are adenocarcinomas. Loss of imprinting (loi) of the insulin-like growth factor ii (igf2) gene is suggested to be associated with a predisposition to sporadic colorectal cancer
