Clinical Information
- A potentially lethal cardiac arrhythmia characterized by an extremely rapid, hemodynamically unstable ventricular tachycardia (150-300 beats/min) with a large oscillating sine-wave appearance. If untreated, ventricular flutter typically progresses to ventricular fibrillation
- A ventricular tachyarrhythmia characterized by a high ventricular rate (180 and 250 beats per minute) with a regular rhythm. The electrocardiogram shows large oscillating sine wave-like complexes occurring as a result of qrs complexes and t waves being merged. The p wave is not visible
- A ventricular tachyarrhythmia characterized by a high ventricular rate (180 and 250 beats per minute) with a regular rhythm. The electrocardiogram shows large oscillating sine wave-like complexes occurring as a result of qrs complexes and t waves being merged. The p wave is not visible. (nci)
- A ventricular tachyarrhythmia characterized electrocardiographically by smooth undulating waves with qrs complexes merged with t waves, a rate of approximately 250 per minute
